Office of Government Relations
Welcome to the Texas A&M University Office of Government Relations. We are Texas A&M's interface with the Texas Legislature, Congress, and senior state and federal executive branch officials. Through the Office of the President, and in coordination with The Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) Office of Government Relations, our goal is to fulfill Texas A&M's state constitutional charge as a "university of the first class" and federal land-grant mission.
What We Do
The Texas A&M Office of Government Relations maximizes engagement with elected officials and agency leaders by setting up meetings and facilitating impactful discussions among stakeholders, navigating the complex processes of Congress and state legislatures, providing expert legislative analysis, ensuring compliance with lobbying laws, and influencing policy to benefit Texas A&M. We connect Texas A&M with all levels of government to secure resources and shape policies supporting the university community.
